Ep. 197 - Ben Klein, CEO Aero.com and First Officer, Not Charter but something quite new

Ben Klein: CEO, Aero CEO of Aero, a premium jet service that merges the worlds of hospitality, design, and travel with scheduled flights to getaway destinations like Aspen and Los Cabos. Before being appointed CEO, Ben was General Counsel and Secretary at Aero and he currently teaches Aviation Law, as an Adjunct Professor at San Jose State University.

Prior to joining Aero, Ben served as General Counsel and Head of Government Affairs for Skyryse, an aviation technology start-up bringing advanced automation to general aviation aircraft. Ben began his legal career at Paul Weiss, where he practiced general commercial litigation. He left big law to start his own firm, which eventually became Gross & Klein LLP, a litigation boutique with offices in New York and San Francisco.

Ben is a longtime pilot, the former proud owner of a 1958 Beechcraft Twin Bonanza, and is currently type rated on the Embraer 145/Legacy aircraft. Ben contributes his time and talents both in the boardroom and on the flight deck at Aero. He often works side-by-side with our front line team members flying as First Officer.
