We have been helping nervous flyers since 1996 when Paul Tizzard set up the Virgin Atlantic Flying Without Fear Programme with David Landau and Captain Norman Lees after contacting Sir. Richard Branson with the idea. Paul left that programme in 2019 and set up Lovefly with John Bond, Susan Mungeam, Captain Steve Bull, Sarah Fowler & Pete Higgins. Lovefly Philosophy
We believe that managing or overcoming your fear is a journey. While there are examples of people who have done one course or one therapy and declared themselves “cured”, we at Lovefly believe it is far more likely that the personal journey to manage or overcome your fears or anxieties, related to flying, are more likely to be as unique as you are.
As a starting point we would suggest you join the Lovefly Facebook group, to gain support and knowledge and to realize you are not alone and also listen to the Lovefly podcasts. These are both free resources and a great source of support and information. Maybe, this is the end of your personal journey and you have learned enough with these resources to be able to fly and manage your fears. Perhaps, after hearing about the variety of different therapies available for fearful fliers on the podcasts, you might choose to seek help from a therapist. You might decide to instead purchase the Lovefly 30 day course or an in person course in a classroom or on a Rig. Lovefly aims to be the place where you build your own solutions based on your personal needs. You can do this, it is a journey but you can move at your own pace, always controlling what you need or when you have reached your own personal goals.
